Kitchen cabinets often bear the brunt of cooking splatters, grease, and grime. Dawn dishwashing liquid, a versatile cleaning agent, can effectively clean and deodorize cabinets, leaving them fresh and spotless.

Preparing the Solution

Combine a few drops of Dawn with warm water in a bowl or spray bottle. The ratio can be adjusted depending on the level of grime. For heavily soiled cabinets, a stronger solution may be required.

Cleaning Process

Dip a clean sponge or microfiber cloth into the solution and wring out any excess. Gently wipe down cabinet surfaces, paying attention to corners and crevices where dirt can accumulate. For stubborn stains, allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before wiping.

Rinsing and Drying

Once the cabinets are cleaned, rinse them with a clean, damp cloth to remove any remaining residue. Use a dry microfiber cloth to pat cabinets dry and prevent water spots or streaks.

Deodorizing

Dawn's fresh scent helps deodorize cabinets, eliminating cooking odors. After cleaning, place a small bowl of Dawn solution inside the cabinets and leave it overnight. Remove the bowl the next day and close the cabinet doors to circulate the fresh scent.
