How to Install Kitchen Door Knobs

Tools and Materials:

New kitchen door knobs
Screwdriver
Drill (optional)
Measuring tape or ruler
Pencil or marking tool

Step 1: Measure and Mark the Placement

Measure the distance between the center of the doorknob and the edge of the door. Mark the center point using a pencil or marking tool.

Step 2: Drill Holes (if Necessary)

If there are no pre-drilled holes on the door, use a drill to create two holes. The holes should be the same size as the diameter of the door knob's shank.

Step 3: Insert the Shank

Insert the shank of the door knob through one of the holes from the back of the door. Secure it with a screw, tightening it until the knob is snug against the door.
