How to Install Crown Molding on Kitchen Cabinets with Soffits

Repeat steps 1-7 for the other side of the soffit. 9. Measure the distance between the two pieces of molding and cut a piece of molding to fit. 10. Cut a 90-degree angle on one end of the molding. 11. Dry fit the molding in place and secure it with brad nails. 12. Caulk the joints between the molding and the soffit.

Tips:

Use a level to make sure the molding is level before you nail it in place.
Don't over-nail the molding, or you could split it.
If you're not sure how to cut a miter angle, you can use a miter saw box.
Be patient and take your time. It may take a few tries to get the molding to fit perfectly.
